Frequently asked questions
Are cushions included with the swing?
No. We build and ship the swing frame and hanging rope only. That lets you choose the exact cushion color, thickness, and fabric that fits your porch — instead of paying for one we picked for you.
What cushion size should I buy?
Match the cushion to the swing you ordered:
- Chair swing: a standard chair-size outdoor seat cushion, roughly 20" × 20".
- Loveseat / 4 ft swing: a bench cushion around 41"–44" wide × 18"–20" deep.
- 5 ft porch swing: a bench cushion around 52"–56" wide × 18"–20" deep.
- Twin swing bed: a standard twin mattress or twin daybed cushion (~39" × 75").
- Full / queen swing bed: a standard full (54" × 75") or queen (60" × 80") mattress.
Search terms that work well: "outdoor bench cushion", "porch swing cushion", or "daybed mattress".
Where can I buy cushions?

Do I need to weatherproof the cushion?
Look for Sunbrella or "solution-dyed" outdoor fabric — it resists sun fading and mildew. In Phoenix, we recommend bringing cushions indoors during monsoon storms to make them last longer.
Can you make a swing to fit a cushion I already own?
